RFP Description

The Vendor is required to provide business writing training refers to any course that provides learners with the tools and techniques to write professional communication clearly and effectively.
- Session structure and content; accessibility
•    For the first year agency anticipates requiring approximately 60 virtual business writing training sessions (up to 40 sessions in English and 20 sessions in French). 
•    This is the approximate anticipated amount projected for the subsequent option years.
•    The capacity to deliver approximately 60 business writing training sessions virtually using the desktop version of MS teams to a minimum of 6 and maximum of 15 participants per session. 
•    The contractor will be required to provide invitation links to each session to each participant. 
•    The training can be scheduled as a full-day or two-half day sessions.
•    The full day option (6-hour course) must be scheduled as follows:
o    Two (2) 15-minute breaks (one in the morning and one in the afternoon). 
o    One (1) 30-minute lunch period (not included in the 6-hour course).
•    The half-day option must be scheduled as follows:
o    Split into 2 three-hour sessions over two days including one 15-minute break per session. 
o    The two half-day sessions must be scheduled within the same week.
•    The sessions must contain interactive activities for learners to practice the concepts taught. 
•    Upon discussion with the project authority, the contractor may request some pre-work to be completed by the participants.

•    Identify the purpose of your communication
•    Write clear and concise sentences
•    Adopt proper tone and vocabulary
•    Using active and passive voice
•    How to use effective introductions and conclusions
•    Establish flow with transition words
•    Apply effective headings and sub-headings
•    Grammar rules (e.g. Punctuation, sentence structure, wording, acronyms, etc.)
•    How to use the accessibility checker
•    Review for readability and plain language
•    Using artificial intelligence to empower business writing.
