The Vendor is required to provide comprehensive grant writing and development services that include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Grant identification:
• Research and identify potential federal, state, local, and private grant opportunities that align with the department opioid and substance use disorder program and strategic initiatives.
• Maintain a database of potential grant opportunities and deadlines.
2. Grant development:
• Work collaboratively with department staff to develop grant proposals that meet the specific requirements of each funding opportunity.
• Ensure that all grant proposals are aligned with the goals and objectives of the department opioid and substance use disorder program.
• Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines for grant proposals.
3. Grant writing:
• Write clear, concise, and compelling grant proposals that effectively communicate the needs and goals of the department opioid and substance use disorder program.
• Ensure that all grant proposals are compliant with the specific guidelines and requirements of each funding opportunity.
• Prepare all necessary supporting documentation, including letters of support, resumes, and organizational information.
4. Grant submission:
• Submit completed grant proposals by the specified deadlines.
• Ensure that all required documentation is included with each submission.
5. Post-submission support:
• Provide follow-up support for submitted grant proposals, including responding to requests for additional information or revisions.
• Assist with the negotiation and acceptance of grant awards.
