The Vendor is required to provide for grant writing and administration services to secure funding for lead service line replacement, infrastructure projects, watershed protection, water quality enhancements and other priorities.
- Provide monthly services including, but not limited to:
• Work with agency to establish projects and priorities for funding opportunities.
• Conduct needs assessments and develop plans to identify funding sources.
• Research, track, and seek all agency-appropriate federal, state, and private entity funding.
• Prepare, write, and submit all grants, securing required documents, engineering reports, and letters of support.
• Preparation and/or review of reports and applications per agency request.
• Per agency request, preparation and/or review of grant-related correspondence on behalf of agency.
• Oversight of any administrative services necessary to meet grant requirements.
• Opportunity Forecasting: Provide a brief monthly report identifying upcoming legislative changes or new funding cycles/opportunities at least 60 days before the application deadline.
• Coordinate financial drawdowns with agency Senior Manager of Finance or a designee.
• Attendance at regular, special or emergency meetings per agency request.
• Represent agency before state, municipal, and federal committees, agencies, boards and commissions relative to grant funding opportunities.
• Manage post-award reports to funders and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
