Design Standards and Guidelines Technical Writing and Editing 2027 Services

The Vendor is required to provide design standards and guidelines (DSG) technical writing and editing 2027 services for include:
- Implementation of technical editing process
• Editing of the updated 19 chapters of the design standards and guidelines with 49 appendices.
• All material will be edited to fit the audience, as identified at the start of each chapter, and to follow the DSG style guide.
• Consultant will approach the work on a rolling basis, providing the city with first drafts on completed chapters and moving on to additional chapters as the chapter owners complete them while waiting for city comments on the previous chapters.
• Some chapters may need additional drafts.
- Final production
• Once all chapter and appendices are completely edited and final versions are approved by agency, the consultant will package individual chapters and appendices in pdf format and apply bookmarks and hyperlinking within the document.
• Quality assurance of the set to ensure numbering, linking, referencing across chapters and appendices is consistent and accurate.
• Consultant will meet with the city to walk through full set of documents and functionality upon completion and will be available to support follow up stakeholder review if needed, prior to publishing.
