Grant Writing and Implementation Services

The Vendor is required to provide for grant writing and implementation services.
- Consultant will be expected to coordinate with this nonprofit partner during development of the engagement strategy and throughout the grant-writing process.
- These properties—ranging from former dry cleaners and gas stations to legacy light-industrial uses—were developed during a period when residential and industrial uses commonly coexisted without modern zoning standards.
- The consultant’s approach should consider how to assess these small and difficult-to-redevelop sites and how to position them for potential remediation and reuse.
- This may include recommendations on the use of allowable expenses such as site reuse assessments, market studies and post-study evaluations, conceptual highest and best use analysis, site reuse visioning, resource road mapping and other eligible expenses under a CWAG.
- Conduct research and analysis necessary to prepare a complete CommunityWide Assessment Grant application.
- Conduct site investigations including sample collection and laboratory analysis.
- Evaluate cleanup options, conduct risk assessments, and prepare cost estimates.
- Prepare and maintain schedules and budgets for all assigned grant activities.
- Provide professional advice regarding environmental issues related to land reuse and redevelopment.
- Provide regulatory and financial information as needed, and guidance regarding any pertinent regulatory updates that may impact the project.
