• Data readiness: assessing the quality, volume, accessibility, and lineage of data required for model training.
• Data architecture and quality evaluation: analysis of data lineage, availability, and cleansing requirements to ensure high-fidelity datasets suitable for model training and fine-tuning.
• Technology: inventorying current AI and ML platforms, computer infrastructure, and supporting tools (e.g., feature stores, vector databases).
• People and culture: determining staff knowledge, skills, and abilities in AI engineering, and responsible AI (rai).
