The Vendor is required to provide asset lifecycle management (ALM) of county physical security systems, to include: access control systems (ACS), intrusion detection systems (ids), video management systems (VMS), fire alarm monitoring software integration, preventive maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, installation, and engineering design services.
- Security assets are planned, acquired, deployed, operated, optimized, and retired in a way that maximizes value, minimizes risk and cost, and sustains the county’s ability to deliver services.
- Asset lifecycle management (ALM) includes:
• Asset registry and centralized inventory
• Annual inspections, preventive maintenance, and software and firmware upgrades for ACS, ids, and VMS (firm fixed price, FFP)
• Repairs, replacement, and warranty handling requirements (time and materials, T&M)
• Engineering design services for new security system installations (time and materials, T&M)
• End-of-life, decommissioning and disposal
• Minimum service level agreements, key performance indicators and reporting
• Pricing structure
- Other requirements include:
• Quality control
• Uniforms
• Employee identification
• Workplace safety and cleaning up
• Protection of existing facilities
• Use of site
• Criminal background checks
• County inspection of work.
