The vendor is required to provide data collection technical report writing and design services for provide a watershed-scale, comprehensive plan to address existing conditions that negatively affect ecosystems, wildlife, and communities; and design the community-prioritized segment of trail along a restoration project to address the gaps in the wildcat creek trail that currently prevent underserved communities from accessing the shoreline, bay trail and the planned project.
• Produce a revised watershed restoration action plan for wildcat creek (re-wrap) that includes the entire 13.8 lineal mile wildcat creek watershed, addresses data gaps, and reflects current geomorphic and hydraulic conditions.
• Conduct two special studies: a sediment dynamics assessment and management framework and an upper watershed water quality and fish habitat monitoring and report
• Create 100% engineer-certified designs for a direct route along the wildcat creek trail from the fish ladder to the, 100% designs for one pedestrian bridge over city.
• Develop a feasibility study and alternatives analysis for the stretch between rum rill Blvd and the fish ladder that will lay out project objectives and assess feasibility by producing 2-3 project alignments.
• Engage with key partners regularly to determine the structure of all deliverables, align project components across discrete tasks, and share project findings by sharing project outputs.
- The consultant will help to produce all necessary materials used to engage community members in the underserved area through workshops, in person and virtual presentations, walking tours, design charettes, flyers, websites, videos, social media, email, and more to ensure that the revised watershed management planning document incorporates the lived experience of residents, and that trail and park designs respond to the direct needs and priorities of the residents.
