The vendor is required to provide revenue generating management services for include:
a. Facility management and oversight:
• Maintain all elements of the building's physical infrastructure, including the upkeep and repair of all aspects of center.
b. Operations plan and staffing:
• Hire, pay, and train all staff, including venue management, artistic staff, ushers, production crew, merchandise, event staff, maintenance staff and volunteers.
c. Fiscal management:
• Follow fiscally responsible and transparent best practices.
• Provide an annual audit of revenue and expenses and alert city to any potential financial shortfalls that would prevent the venue's proper or continued operation.
d. Ticketing and marketing:
• Ensure that the venue maintains a professional ticketing operation and event marketing program, deploying all forms of social media and positively promoting center.
e. Booking and programming and event management:
• Promote the theater for use and leverage resources to bring significant events, institutions, commercial promoters, and concert artists to the venue.
o Provide an annual report detailing the number of contracts and a database of all venue users.
o The expectation is that the venue will be used seven days a week three hundred and sixty-five days a year.
o City must maintain a certain degree of control over the facility's use, which could include requiring that city approve events and bookings on an as needed basis.
o The selected proposer must provide city with up to twelve (12) “parish days” annually.
o Parish days allow the parish to book the venue without any rental fee.
o No other days will be given as fee-free days to any other entity.
f. Revenue generation:
• Firm shall pay city a five dollar ($5.00) building fee for each ticket sold for all ticketed events and provide city with an agreed upon percentage of the net profits at the end of each calendar year.
