- Collection schedule
• Operate Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Perform weekly collection of compost materials.
- Operational guidelines
• Accept compostable materials only from paid subscribers, with public access one day per week.
• Clean any food waste spills promptly.
• Reject contaminated food waste (e.g., items with produce stickers, plastic, rubber bands, twist ties).
• Transport all accepted feedstock to a certified composting facility.
• Retain exclusive rights to composting commodities collected during the events.
• Promote the collection events via vendor website and social media platforms.
- Equipment requirements:
• Provide and maintain a composting drum suitable for public drop-off use.
- Provide partnering entities:
• A facility map indicating the designated setup location.
• Promotional support for the composting events.
• On-site signage for public awareness.
