Debt Collection Services

The Vendor is required to provide for debt collection services.
- As federal funding is diminishing, the collection process will become more arduous, we need to make sure that we are following all the collection regulations as well as retaining collection agencies with strong regulatory knowledge and compliance efforts.
- Collections Approach:
•    Indicate, where relevant, when the approach differs between debt types or placement levels.
o    Skip tracing.
o    Communication methods and frequency.
o    Payment negotiation strategy and forms of payment. 
o    Online resources for students.
o    Dispute resolution and complaint handling.
o    Processes for bankruptcy, decease, and other special circumstances. 
o    Credit reporting.
o    Litigation.
o    Account close and return.
