The Vendor is required to provide data collection and reporting services for include:
- Data collection
• The tables shall be of sufficient detail to allow clear identification by the contractor of the starting and ending points for each section.
• This list of road sections shall be those road sections that the department requires retroreflectivity measurements on.
• Raw data and standard reports from MRUs shall be provided via email to the department in the following formats:
o Comma separated value files (*.csv)
o Shape files (*.shp)
o Google earth files (*.kml)
o Portable document format files (*.pdf)
• The collected data and can use the data during and after the end of this contract.
- Reporting
• All data, forms, procedures, manuals, system descriptions and workflows developed or accumulated by the contractor under this contract shall be owned by the department.
• May not release any materials without the written approval of the department.
• Report retroreflectivity readings based on their GPS coordinates on a map and in table format (e.g., csv) with each 0.10-mile reading represented by a geospatially accurate segment.
• The following information about the 0.10-mile interval:
o Record description as NLF ID
o Odometer reading
o Date of reading
o Time of reading
o Latitude
o Longitude
o GPS accuracy
o Vehicle speed
o Outside ambient temperature
o Outside ambient humidity
o Number of valid scans
o Maximum retroreflectivity
o Minimum retroreflectivity
o Average retroreflectivity for the section
o Standard deviation
o Stripe width (inches)
o Contrast
o Stripe type (e.g., left edge, right edge, center, skip 1, skip 2, etc.)
o Material type (i.e., traffic paint, polyester, thermoplastic, preformed, epoxy, heat fused preformed, spray thermoplastic)
o Event code (e.g., work zone, debris on the line, line missing, etc.)
o Free form notes.
