Printing and Mailing Services

The vendor is required to provide printing and mailing services that for the park’s newsletter.
- Parks and recreation commission project:
• This project involves the production of a bi-annual program guide (march and September), with an estimated print run of approximately 11,000 copies per issue, subject to approval.
each brochure will consist of eight (8) full-bleed pages, folded and trimmed to a finished size of 8.5" x 11"
• Include up to 2–3 hours of design and computer time.
• The vendor must provide at least two (2) proofing rounds, including a book-style proof and a color proof, as well as a print-ready file upon project completion.
• Brochures will be printed in full color using the offset 4/4 process, with an optional proposal for full-color digital printing as an alternative.
1. Finishing level:
• This project will be saddle-stitched and folded in half, with three-tab mailing seals applied for mailed pieces.
• Any remaining, non-mailed brochures will receive a final half-fold, be packed in cartons, and delivered to the parks and recreation department
2. Mailing services:
• Printing delivery and return addresses on the mailer.
• Sorting for bulk mail and delivering to a local post office in county.
• Using the vendor's bulk mailing permit for postage fees
• Performing CASS (coding accuracy support system) certification and NOCA (national change of address) certification to ensure accuracy and remove undeliverable addresses.
• All mailing service costs must be included in the pricing provided.
- Annual report:
• The production of an annual report (January) with an estimated print run of approximately 11,000 copies per issue, subject to approval.
• Brochure will consist of eight (8) full-bleed pages, folded and trimmed to a finished size of 8.5" x 11".
• The paper used will be 70lb satin text or an approved equivalent based on availability at the time of printing.
• Include up to 2–3 hours of design and computer time.
• Provide at least two (2) proofing rounds, including a book-style proof and a color proof, as well as a print-ready file upon project completion.

3. Alternate:
• Pricing is requested for an additional one-page insert to be included in the annual report; insert will be ledger (11 x 17) and folded to fit into the annual report.
• Recommend a lighter stock; alternate size recommendations will be accepted; approximately 11,000 inserts will be printed.
