Fabrication of Wayfinding Interior Signage for the Health and Human Services (HHS) Building and additional buildings as needed and assigned.
- The scope includes, but is not limited to, the production of signage in accordance with the approved designs, specifications, dimensions, materials, colors, finishes, typography, and mounting requirements identified in the project documents.
- Required Vendor Responsibilities
• Furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, incidentals, placement, signage, and engineering needed for the work, when applicable.
• Prepare and submit required permits and documentation, when applicable.
• Coordinate all stages of the work with college Facilities, the architect/engineer team, subcontractors, and interfacing trades; participate in required partnering meetings when applicable.
• Provide timely drawings, submittals, and coordination to avoid delay and rework; review all drawings, specifications, general notes, and bid documents applicable to the vendor’s work.
• Provide all required closeout documents; final payment is contingent on college review and approval of those documents.
• Review all signage plans, schedules, specifications, drawings, and other project information provided by college to ensure a complete understanding of the required signage.
• Review existing campus conditions and verify, to the extent necessary for fabrication and placement recommendations, dimensions, surfaces, sightlines, circulation patterns, and other conditions that may affect the signage.
• Provide professional recommendations for the location, orientation, mounting height, visibility, and sequencing of wayfinding signage. Recommendations should consider pedestrian traffic patterns, decision points, accessibility, sightlines, building circulation, and overall wayfinding effectiveness.
• Fabricate all signage in accordance with the approved designs, specifications, dimensions, materials, colors, finishes, typography, graphics, and accessibility requirements identified in the project documents.
• Provide applicable tactile and Braille elements and ensure fabricated signage complies with applicable accessibility standards and requirements identified in the project documents.
• Provide detailed drawings, signage schedules, material samples, color/finish samples, and/or proofs for college review and approval prior to fabrication, as requested.
• Furnish all substrates, graphics, finishes, mounting hardware, fasteners, supports, and other components necessary for a complete signage package.
• Ensure all fabricated signage is accurate, consistent, free of defects, and conforms to the approved designs and specifications.
• Properly package, protect, label, and deliver completed signage to the college-designated location in a condition suitable for storage and subsequent installation.
Proposals for GDA-0413 are due by October 14, 2026.
