The Vendor is required to provide the executive search firm will report to the board chair, area, or designee, and will work in close coordination with the search committee, HR director, staff and any community members providing support to the search process.
- Provides leadership as the public face of the organization.
- Manages a complex and diverse organization with responsibility for ensuring success of special projects, delivering the highest level of service to customers, the highest level of return on taxpayer investment and the positive public perception of the transit system and its service brands.
- Objectives:
• Work in close coordination with agency Search Committee, HR Director, staff and community members charged with supporting the search;
• Perform an extensive, nationwide search with a focus on local candidates first and then national for the next Managing Director agency;
• Provide guidance in structuring the recruitment and hiring process and timeline; and
• Support the process of final negotiations that result in an accepted Letter of Hire.
