• Collections bins and boxes must be lockable with tamper-proof locks. (Each location must be provided with an access key assigned to a district employee.)
• Collections bins and boxes must be of tamper-resistant, durable construction of heavy plastic, metal, or wood preferably with a furniture style finish for a professional office environment.
• Collections bins and boxes must be portable for easy movement proportional to anticipated capacity.
• Collections bins and boxes must be secure with a one-way insertion slot to prevent adverse retrieval.
- Include a detailed plan for document destruction that meets or exceeds the following minimum requirements
• Shredding security methods that meet or exceed institute for standardization's din 66399 for media type p (paper), level 4 for records of a potential secure and sensitive nature covered under act and student information laws and regulations.
• Allows for the inclusion of small metal items such as staples and paperclips.

• Reports of collection bins and boxes servicing notating dates, times, and personnel responsible for provided services.
