Medical Physicist Services

The vendor is required to provide medical physicist services shall consist of the provision of stipulated safety surveys, acceptance testing and oversight of agency quality assurance program, as well as college accreditation assistance, shielding designs, entrance skin exposure charts, badge review, nuclear medicine audits and participation in radiation safety meetings, pregnancy dosimetry reports, phone and email consultation.
- Radiology and dental programs are required by state, federal law, and accrediting bodies to have annual radiation safety surveys on all x-ray emitting devices. 
- MRI, mammography, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine all have specifications and regulations governed by the state and food and drug administration (FDA), college accrediting bodies to follow as well.
- Center for burn care, behavioral health services, transplantation, medical oncology and head and neck cancer care, and rehabilitation.
