Comprehensive Medical Services

The Vendor is required to provide comprehensive medical services to the residents of the center.
- The facilities contain one examination room, a nurse’s office, and storage and filing space.
- All estimates are approximate.
- Visits will be scheduled at a mutually agreed upon time between the hours of 7:00am – 5:00pm.
- These visits will include an initial evaluation and a physical performed by a medical doctor/nurse practitioner specializing in family/pediatric medicine.
- Additional visits may be necessary to conduct a physical on all new residents admitted to these facilities, within seventy two (72) hours of admission in compliance with regulations.
- These visits also include any sick calls requested by a resident, which are performed by a doctor and or nurse practitioner.
- Pre-exam paperwork will be transmitted to the doctor/nurse practitioner prior to the telemedicine visit and examinations will be coordinated with juvenile facility medical staff.
- Provider will utilize their own internet Wi-Fi and video equipment compatible with juvenile facility equipment.
- Program must be staffed solely through licensed, certified, and professionally trained medical personnel. At least one attending physician must be board certified in family medicine /pediatrics.
