The Vendor is required to provide sanction screening services for a large workforce.
- The sanction screening services includes scheduled monthly, as well as ad-hoc screenings.
- This should be an electronic solution requiring limited manual intervention.
- Routine screening procedures are required by law and facilitate the identification of individuals, entities or companies that have been sanctioned, debarred, or excluded from state or federally funded health care programs.
- Screenings begin prior to employment or engagement and continue monthly thereafter for early identification of potential compliance risk.
- This should be an electronic solution requiring limited manual (or people-dependent) intervention and that can:
• Improve the efficiency and accuracy of both ad-hoc and monthly comprehensive reviews.
• Integrate seamlessly with existing Information Technology (IT) and Compliance and Ethics Department systems.
• Scale to accommodate the large volume of up to 50,000 individuals, entities, or companies screened monthly.
- Provide a customizable electronic solution specifically tailored for Sanction Screenings (a/k/a exclusion screenings) specific to the healthcare industry, the solution will include the following capabilities:
• Interface with Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS): seamless integration with systems like PeopleSoft or Workday, allowing for real-time updates of personnel demographic data and position-specific information
• Integration with Vendor Management Systems (VMS): full interoperability with vendor management platforms such as Infor to ensure alignment between personnel and vendor data.
• Integration with Credentialing Systems: ability to connect with MD-Staff or similar system.
- Provide robust reporting and analytics, and extensive reporting capabilities to track and analyze sanction screening results:
• Individual and entity profile reports: comprehensive reports detailing a complete search history for individuals and entities, including the final resolution for each screening
• Batch reports: generate batch reports for large datasets, including search history and resolutions based on department or other customizable parameters.
• Ad-Hoc Reports: On-demand profile reports for specific individuals or entities, including detailed search history, resolutions, and any supporting documentation associated with the investigation.
• Trend Reporting: enable tracking and analysis of trends, such as recurring issues with specific individuals or departments, to support risk management and compliance efforts.
• Access to the internet use of a Web browser which supports 128-bit encryption.
• Access (to the solution) twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week, except during scheduled maintenance, which forty-eight (48) hour advanced notice will be provided.
• Technical support, via either online access or by phone; live phone support between 8:00 am and 5 pm (CST) Mondays-Fridays, and prompt response to voice mail messages or online inquiries submitted during other hours.
• Timely communication when the system is down (unscheduled) and provide an expected time to remedy and return to normal operations.
• Commitment to an email downtime of six (6) hours or less.
