The Vendor is required to provide for comprehensive background screening services for prospective and current personnel at the agency.
- Providing various pre-employment services.
- One such service is a software system office can utilize to manage the collection and storage of applicant background check information.
- Background Information Verification: (Pre-Employment and Monitoring)
• Conduct comprehensive background checks, including county criminal searches (7-year, unlimited counties as revealed by SSN trace), FBI with fingerprints, nationwide, state and local criminal history checks.
• Current & former names
• Sex offender registry searches (national and state specific)
• Global Watchlist/sanctions screening
• Online name search is sufficient for annual and ongoing monitoring as long as fingerprints are completed at hire.
• Verify information through the central registry request for the department.
• SSN validity checks
• Check the office and agency database for any exclusions or government sanctions.
• I-9 and e-verify identity verification
- Professional Verification: (Pre-Employment & Annual)
• Verify employment history, including dates of employment, job titles, and responsibilities up to seven (7) years from three (3) employers.
• Contact previous employers to validate the accuracy of provided information.
• Verify educational history, including dates of completion and degree type.
• Professional licenses and credentials verifications relevant to the position.
• Professional Reference Verifications
- Occupational Health Screenings: (Pre-Employment and As Necessary)
• Collection and testing for pre-employment health screenings, including:
• Standard 7-panel substance use testing with chain of custody management and medical review office services, including medical marijuana verification.
• Breathe alcohol testing.
• Random and Reasonable Suspicion Testing
• Return to Duty Screenings

• Credit History Checks
• Social Media Checks
- Contract Period/Term: 2 years
