Background Check and I9 Services

The Vendor is required to provide comprehensive background check and I9 (E-Verify) services.
- Responsible for conducting thorough background checks on potential employees and verifying their eligibility to work in the country through the I9 (E-Verify) system.
- The goal is to ensure that all employees meet the district's standards for safety and legal compliance.
- Background process must be fully integrated with Oracle meaning the background checks are automatically initiated when a candidate is moved to a specific status. Once the background check is complete, the background is automatically added to the candidate in Oracle and the candidate background status is updated.
- Fully integrated I-9 and E-Verify process with Oracle meaning the I-9 is automatically sent to the new hire electronically once the candidate reaches a specific status.
- Once the I-9 is complete and the documents are verified, then the E-Verify is automatically completed and the E-Verify confirmation is attached in Oracle.
- Average background check turnaround time of 1 to 2 business days.
- The background check results must be consistent and clearly documented so school knows how to proceed with a hiring a candidate.
- The background check results must include the candidate name, email address, and social security number.
- Provide process to allow background checks housed in our current background system to be uploaded into the new background system for future reference.
- Ability to quickly search for background checks by candidate name and social security number. This is required for background checks generated before and after implementation.
- Ability to quickly see the status of pending background checks.
- Provide customer support via phone and email to candidates with questions when completing the background check application.
- Criminal History Check:
o    National criminal database search
o    County criminal court search (for all counties of residence in the past 7 years)
o    Federal criminal court search
o    Sex offender registry search
o    Global watch list search

- Contract Period/Term: 1 year
