The vendor required to provide claim field investigative and adjusting services, including reporting and processing from a local office or resident adjusters.
- Claim assignments of this type are submitted as a result of any of the following: automobile accidents, claims arising out of the operation of city programs, claims arising out of premises operations, professional liability, worker’s compensation claims, and claims of damage to both real and personal property.
- Services required for assignments of this type would include, but are not limited to: assessment of the extent and nature of the injuries sustained; investigation of accident and incident scene(s); review of factors leading to the establishment of the degree of liability, if any, on the part of the city; interviewing involved persons or witnesses; taking photographs; obtaining court records and similar documents; obtaining executed forms and paperwork; and conducting other claims activities required to bring the claim to final conclusion.
- City personnel will provide claim assignment instructions on each claim.
