The vendor is required to provide the fully managed IT services also include the undertaking of special IT related projects including project oversight, professional in‐depth IT opinions, writing of IT reports, presentation and participation at council meetings as required, and assisting township staff with all IT related inquiries and support by providing comments and recommendations for staff’s consideration.
• Primary site is at the administration building which includes finance, legislative services, planning, building, engineering and castle Kilbride.
• Fibre internet is installed at this location.
• All buildings are equipped with a modem, router and wireless access point and server rack.
• Internet connectivity includes firewall, router, switches, WI‐ FI access points for staff use.
• VPN connection is for staff working from home using township laptops for accessing the township’s network.
• Township staff can also use the township email system (outlook) and all other systems from home.
• The township is not currently accessing the VPN through cell phone/tablet devices.
• The township requires secure remote access to files and systems.
