The vendor required to provide information technology managed services support services including but not limited to: 24x7x365 support, maintenance, and issue remediation for county networked technology infrastructure.
- This service is to include monthly server and workstation scheduled critical and security patches and any recommended manufacturer software and firmware updates, or from any applicable third-party
- Requirement:
• Monitor and report on the availability, performance, security and health of the predetermined hardware and software components of the network utilizing 24x7x365 electronic alerts to monitor system health;
• Any detected issues are expected be resolved or mitigated against in a proactive manner to avoid or minimize network downtime;
• Optimize network traffic flow for county business needs;
• Perform basic server maintenance tasks on 33 windows servers and 4 VMware ESXI hosts;
• Perform server system updates, firmware updates, patching and version control;
• Ensure that critical applications used at county are operating within normal baseline parameters;
• Monitor firewall and gateway connectivity to ensure baseline operations;
• Liaise with county’s IT staff to ensure interoperability between key systems;
• The consultant may operate as a support extension to county’s existing information technology staff on a time-and-materials basis and provide advanced assistance supporting servers and storage, network and security, applications and databases, and technology projects, on a as or when required basis.
• Tier 1 service desk coverage for staff absences may be required on an as needed basis.
