Data Development and Dissemination Services

The Vendor is required to provide on an as needed basis to support the strategic data, analytics and business services branch (SDABS)
- Services include:
o    Strategically direct the technical aspects of the project surveying process from the collection of operational data to the loading of results into the reporting infrastructure;
o    Creation of documentation on the best methods to connect project processes and the enterprise data mart (EDM) to source systems;
o    Performance of detailed UAT on changes prompted by the connection of project processes and the EDM to new source systems, such as Mobius or others;
o    Provision of data for ad hoc information requests from internal and external stakeholders;
o    Provide administrative oversight to data mart products;
o    Support the development of PMF/PMAPS reporting frameworks within the business reporting and analytics information network (the brain);
o    Performance of UAT routines;
o    Performance of data quality assurance activities;
o    Monitoring of data processes to ensure data reliability and integrity;
o    Devising of appropriate business solutions in conjunction with SDABS’S stakeholders;
o    Planning and execution of technical data mining routines;
o    Creation of new information products to satisfy stakeholder’s needs, including the development and documentation of metadata;
o    Providing strategic direction in evolving the brain portal to utilize Microsoft SQL server reporting services (SSRS), SQL server analysis services (SSAS), and other reporting technologies; 
o    Development of business rules and metadata in conjunction with a technical writer;
o    Acting as a back-up for the brain administrators during office hours;
o    Monitoring the usage of the brain information products;
o    Development of continuous improvement measures for business intelligence functions;
o    Collaboration with business, architecture, and development teams in all aspects related to the connection of the brain with source systems;
o    Collaboration with business, architecture, and development teams in all aspects related to the project application;
o    Providing a design and consultation role in the business intelligence environment upgrade (BIEU) project and subsequent bi projects; and
o    Documentation for both logical and physical data models.
