Functional Programming and Master Programming Services

The Vendor is required to provide to participate in future procurement processes for functional programming and/or master programming services for projects carried out by any of the authorities.
- Objective is to maintain a list of firms that are prequalified for functional programming and/or master programming services in connection with acute care projects and/or community care/residential care projects.
- The Functional Programming services and/or Master Programming services.
• Documented practice that maximizes optimizing operations, service delivery efficiencies and clinical workflow
• Documented practice using Evidence Based Design principles
• Demonstrated knowledge of space benchmarks
• Familiarity with Lean analysis of operational flows and adjacency requirements
• Demonstrated health care functional programming and master program project experience
• Demonstrated project experience for hospital sites, specific clinical programs, health care research facilities, community health centres, community programs, residential care, and clinical support service departments
• Demonstrated methodology for Master Programming
• Involvement in Integrated Design Processes
• Large group facilitation skills
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work with Architectural Consultants to ensure completion of the deliverable
• Willingness to share expertise in facility planning with diverse stakeholders (clinical teams, physicians, administration & support departments, facilities consultants, FMP staff)
• Demonstrated engagement of support services departments in designing service delivery models that align with the model of care, and physical features of the facility
- Functional Programming Consultants work with the facilities management team and specifically the clinical planner as well as Architectural Consultants (retained under separate Business Opportunity) and a number of internal stakeholders to validate clinical service planning inputs for a Functional Program (FP) or Site Master Program (MP).
