The Vendor is required to provide a variety of services to residents and visitors, including public safety, building inspections, code enforcement, parks and trails, water distribution, and other essential functions.
- It is imperative that this governance is supported by high-quality legal services.
- General Legal Services
• Drafting and reviewing agreements, contracts, deeds, easements, ordinances, and resolutions.
• Reviewing agendas and supporting materials for city council meetings and attending meetings as required.
• Providing timely legal counsel to the city council, staff, and boards/commissions on various municipal matters.
• Familiarity with the city’s code of ordinances and applicable state and federal laws.
• Assisting in contract negotiation, administration, and dispute resolution.
• Advising on enforcement of property maintenance codes and related procedures.
• Expertise in the act.
• Projects requiring 20 or more hours, such as drafting inter local agreements or assisting council-appointed committees.
