Legal Services

The Vendor is required to provide comprehensive legal services in the area of employment-related matters including but not limited to:
• Provide legal advice and representation of authority in legal proceedings, administrative hearings, and mediation etc.
• Draft and submit all necessary pre-litigation notices, claims, and legal pleadings;
• Provide evaluation and strategy development for employment- related legal matters, including recommendations, action plans, and timeline for key milestones;

• Engage with necessary third parties on authority behalf to resolve disputes, such as opposing counsel and insurance companies;
• Demonstrate efficient management of assignments and timely legal support;
• Provide regular status reports on the progress of the matters assigned to the firm;
• Identify and immediately notify authority of any potential conflicts of interest which may arise during the period of performance, and undertake the necessary immediate steps to eliminate the source of the potential conflict to the satisfaction of authority;
• Provide any additional legal services as mutually agreed upon by both parties; and
• Legal services may be requested by authority president and CEO, authority general counsel, or their designees.
- The property of authority and its affiliates and subsidiaries, are used for essential public and governmental purposes, and its property are exempt from all taxes, including sales tax on all its purchases of supplies and services.
- Employees other than just the owner working on-site to provide the services.
