The vendor is required to provide a review and analysis of potential policy and legal impacts to public health practice in city and work with department staff to create recommended actions to respond to the findings.
• Analysis of specific public health laws or regulations impacted by decisions like the chevron deference. this may include state and circuit court decisions currently being heard. 
• Review of potential conflicts between local, state, and federal laws or orders affecting public health initiatives. 
• Examination of case studies or precedent-setting rulings that may impact public health authority. 
• Assessment of the implications of changes to funding streams, enforcement capabilities, and administrative rulemaking due to these legal changes. 
• Stakeholder analysis: assess how potential legal changes will impact relationships with key public health stakeholders (e.g., hospitals, community organizations, state agencies). 
• Future-proofing recommendations: recommendations for monitoring ongoing legal changes and building departmental capacity to adapt to future shifts in the political and legal landscape.
