General Outside Counsel Legal Services

The vendor is required to provide legal research, advice, and opinions for specialized areas identified above; projects requiring an independent firm with no conflict of interest; and projects requiring technical expertise.
- Provide the department representation in selected negotiations, legal proceedings, litigation, and administrative hearing as directed.
- Appraise the department of all significant developments in any and all matters assigned.
- All significant pleadings, briefs, research, correspondence, and work product, whether generated by outside legal counsel or any other party, to the department in sufficient time to allow meaningful review prior to taking further action.
