Bond Counsel Services

The vendor is required to provide consultant as an independent contractor to perform professional consulting and legal services in relation to the proposed issuance of bonds to fund various capital projects.
- Services desired include but are not limited to rendering legal opinions with respect to the validity and enforceability of the bonds and underlying documents; rendering legal opinions on the treatment of interest on the bonds; preparing transaction documents; supervising bond proceedings; preparing and reviewing documents necessary for the authorization, issuance, sale and delivery of the bonds including enabling legislation, assisting and advising the city in structuring or evaluating the structure of the bonds to ensure the city's goals are accomplished and the bonds comply with applicable law; assisting the city in reviewing the official statement or other offering documents; and acting as an advocate for the city throughout bond transactions.
