The vendor is required to provide online legal research database including cases and statutes for all 50 states, federal statutes and case law, and the ability to key cite or sherardize those cases.
- The database shall provide the ability to search public records
• Online legal research database including cases and statutes for all 50 states, federal statutes, and case law, and the ability to key cite or sherardize those cases.
• Regulations and administrative decisions and guidance (e.g., attorney general opinions, dol opinion letters, etc.)
• Secondary resources relevant to municipal law, such as:
o ALR
o AmJur
o Michies
o McQuillans
o Education law resources
o Forms
o Federal jury instructions
• Public records access
• The office of the city attorney, separate subscriptions shall also be available upon request for other law offices associated with the city (i.e.: commonwealth attorney).
• The city prefers a flat rate subscription plan (per user), allowing unlimited searches within the plan, rather than a per search and transaction model.
o Coverage for 12 attorneys in the city attorney's office
o Coverage for 35 attorneys and 13 paralegals in the commonwealth attorney's office.
