Professional Consulting Services

The vendor is required to provide for consulting engineering and environmental and geomatics firms and engineering and environmental and geomatics consultants along with sub-contracted services to submit a proposal for the provision of consulting engineering and environmental and geomatics services.
- Consulting service categories:
- The services include but not limited to, feasibility study, conceptual study, preliminary design, detailed design, geotechnical investigation, acquiring permits and approvals on behalf of the county, tender preparation, construction administration and post construction services.
• Roadways (rural and urban): Transportation engineering projects include but not limited to road widening, regrading, paving, overlays, replacement/rehabilitation, and embankment slides/failures.
• Bridges: Bridge engineering projects include but not limited to, major and minor culvert replacements, rehabilitation, major and minor bridges.
• Municipal development and general engineering: General civil engineering projects include but not limited to utility master plan, transportation master plan, municipal development plan, area structure plans, inter municipal development plans, water/wastewater and storm/drainage water projects, treatment plants, lagoon projects, solid waste management site (transfer station) upgrades, general municipal engineering work related to trails, walkways, paths, and other active transportation network and possible structural engineering (retaining walls).
• Environmental services: Environmental services include but not limited to environmental site assessments (contaminations, ground water analysis/testing), environmental permitting, water act and/or EPEA approvals, QAES assessments, stream/creek realignments, and general environmental consultancy.
• Geotechnical investigation
• Geomatics: Geomatics services includes topo survey, construction survey, right-of-way and legal plan survey performed by the state land surveyors.
• Additional services: A consultant and company may provide details for additional services able to provide other than the abovementioned service category.
