The Vendor is required to provide professional consulting services to deliver its annual infrastructure program.
- This encompasses a wide variety of projects with varying degrees of complexity, costs, schedule, and risk implications.
- Transportation infrastructure renewal and upgrades including pavement rehabilitation, multi-use paths (pedestrian/cycling/trail), intersection improvements, traffic signals, streetlights, traffic calming installations, signs, road widening and associated utility installations/extensions/upgrades
- New, renewal, upgrade of stream crossings including pedestrian and road bridges
- Sewer modelling, pump station design and renewal, sanitary service studies and plans, conceptual designs for specific services areas
- Sanitary system odour control modelling and design
- Storm drain and flood mitigation improvement projects including data collection and analysis, hydraulic modeling, assessments, mapping, studies, design, and construction
- Design and construction of built and integrated natural infrastructure systems for water quality improvement and storm mitigation such as ponds, traps, swales, etc.
- New, renewal and upgrade of parks and open spaces and its associated infrastructure including playgrounds, sports facilities, lake accesses, irrigation and landscaping
- Permitting and permitting coordination with various levels of government/agencies including environmental and archaeological
- Geotechnical engineering studies and inventory assessment of ravine or slope instability sites
- Environmental studies, impact assessments, management plans, monitoring, inspections, and reporting
- Support, integration and coordination of operational and technical aspects such as traffic management, engineering (transportation/civil/structural/geotechnical/hydrological/etc.), environmental and archaeological requirements
- Condition assessments for transportation, drainage, and sanitary infrastructure and systems.
