The Vendor is required to provide by the database administration services provide by 101151129 state LTD require deep expertise in managing critical legacy systems, ensuring business continuity, and maintaining system stability across multiple essential applications.
- WebLogic administration for critical applications
• Ensure continued stability, optimal performance, and minimal downtime for approved homes (mental health) and Nicodemus (patient billing).
- Management of legacy Linux systems
• Support and maintain legacy Linux environments that form the backbone of critical applications and databases.
- Oversight of legacy databases and applications (e.g., AMIS – mental health app)
• Sustain and optimize AMIS (mental health app) and other legacy databases vital to ongoing and historical business functions.
- Oracle e-business suite (EBS) archiving
• Manage EBS archiving processes to mitigate risks associated with data bloat, system slowdowns, and reduced availability.
- Database software installation and configuration
• Install and configure oracle database software, instances, and tablespaces per project requirements.
- Backup and recovery
• Implement backup strategy using oracle Roman, ensuring integrity, disaster recovery, and adherence to RTO/RPO.
- Performance tuning
• Optimize database performance through monitoring, query optimization, indexing, and ongoing testing.
- Database security
• Maintain security configurations, user access controls, encryption, patching, and audits for compliance.
- Disaster recovery (DR) planning and management
• Design and manage DR strategy with oracle data guard and real application clusters (RAC), performing DR tests.
- Proactive monitoring using oracle enterprise manager
• use oracle enterprise manager to monitor database health, performance, and resolve issues.
- Oracle apex and ORDS environment management
• Manage oracle apex and ORDS environments, optimizing and supporting 20-30 applications.
- Legacy server and database monitoring (Nagios)
• Oversee Nagios-based server and database monitoring, taking corrective actions as needed.
