- The successful proponent will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive needs assessment, engaging with key stakeholders, and developing a strategic framework to guide the establishment and long-term sustainability of the center.
- Development center is anticipated to have transformative impacts, including:
1. Cultural impact:
• Serving as a dedicated venue for cultural education, celebrations, and community gatherings to reinforce a strong sense of identity and pride among state and all persons of descent
• Encouraging cross-cultural learning and collaboration between state and all persons of descent to build relationships and create meaningful opportunity for connection.
• Also to enhance support systems and culturally specific services for persons of descent who have immigrated to county.
2. economic impact:
• Stimulating economic growth by fostering partnerships with local businesses and industries to create job opportunities.
• Establishing a framework to ensure job postings and consultant opportunities are visible on directories, government sites, and employment platforms to enhance accessibility and all persons of descent.
