Consulting Services for Distribution and Transmission Line Engineering

The vendor is required to provide engineering, drafting, and procurement support, for the execution of work in the city of medicine hat, on an “as required” basis.
- This engineering firm’s tasks may include, but will not necessarily be limited to:
• Civil design
o Foundations
o Grading
o Access roads
o Trenching
• Structural design
o Wood poles
o Laminated poles
o Steel poles
• Bill of materials and procurement support
• Line design
o Underground and overhead design for 13.8kv
o Overhead design for 69kv to 138kv
• Bid documents
o Preparation of construction bid documents and bid evaluation
o Bid meetings
o Project kick off meetings
o Final construction walkthrough and inspection
- Requirements:
• Provide all IFC and as built engineering documentation endorsed according to current APEGGA protocols.
• Provide all models back to agency in their native format.
• Provide all other documentation in electronic format
• Provide monthly progress invoicing for all project activities along with a brief summary of activities completed to date.
• This information will be available on an individual project basis.
• all intellectual property related to the project, including all documentation and stamped drawings will be owned by agency.
• Engineers working on agency projects are required to reside approximately within 5 hours away from the project.
