- Capital Improvement Plan (CIP)
• The CIP delivery is the execution of multiple smaller improvements and alterations to the existing middle school over the course of ten years or more.

- The renovate-like-new option shall assess financial costs to renovate the existing building while the school is occupied. - The selected firm shall also advise on the estimated cost to the town for this option and any 127 penalties that it may incur with this option.
- The new construction option shall evaluate constructing a new school presumed to be on the site of the existing school.
- If the existing site is not a viable option, a new site will need to be identified and considered in the comparison table.
- Monitor progress to confirm alignment with enrollment projections and state space standards.
- Support messaging that clearly communicates the project’s value, financial implications, and
- Alignment with community priorities.
- Integration with town-wide facilities planning
- While not responsible for maintenance planning, the firm must help frame the selected capital
- Investment in the context of broader municipal facility’s needs.
- Clearly articulate the tradeoffs between large-scale bonding and future maintenance capacity.
