The Vendor is required to provide organizations, and county workforce development organizations that prioritize workforce development and develop partnerships to design programs to increase the health workforce.
- The Collaborative will bring together community organizations, educational institutions, providers and health systems to develop innovative approaches and cross-sector initiatives to increase the health care workforce that serves county, including medi-cal members.
- Services include:
• Develop a plan for a collaborative framework, through analysis of key initiatives and projects that address the healthcare workforce shortage in county.
• Develop a list of stakeholders, including providers and health systems, educational institutions, and community organizations to be invited to the collaborative.
• Develop a detailed project plan and timeline with durations of tasks and required resources and responsibilities of each party.
• The project plan must be updated throughout the project if timelines change.
• Generate concrete activities, products, and measurable outcomes to be achieved by the workforce development collaborative.
• Facilitate in-person collaborative meetings, with the possibility of virtual meetings as deemed necessary by agency staff.
• Develop monthly reports and executive summary presentation to agency staff detailing convening themes, notes, process activities and recommendations based on the discussion at convening’s.
• Evaluate current and existing agency workforce development initiatives and related programs and make recommendations for improvement and/or integrated strategy based on findings from the convening.
• Produce dashboards or other supporting documentation that can be used by agency staff and stakeholders for ongoing workforce development initiative reporting.
• Schedule and conduct regular meetings with agency staff to present relevant findings and project status.
• Develop a final report detailing all activities, findings, along with strategy summary for distribution.
• The final report will include the community workforce asset findings and documentation of identified trends and opportunities.
• The report must also include a corresponding action plan with recommendations that help agency advance projects and investments that support health workforce development.
