Municipal Planning Consulting Services

The Vendor is required to provide the provision of a range of land-use planning consulting services, consisting of development review and approval, and long-range planning services that will be required by the County.
- These services are required to assist the group in managing high volumes of work and meeting project deadlines.
- Development Approval Services
• The full range of duties associated with accepting, reviewing, and processing development permit applications in compliance with the requirements of the municipal government act and county’s policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Permit applications to be processed may involve any and all land use categories as set out in the county land use bylaw.
• Development permit applications for permitted and discretionary uses of varying complexity. This service is required if/when required or needed to assist in processing development permit applications during periods of high permit application volumes on an “as-required basis”.
- All work performed is subject to guidance, oversight, and acceptance provided by the Manager of Development Services.
- Assisting with the preparation of County-led plans and projects,
- Assist with policy-based projects, including statutory and non-statutory planning projects and other supporting plans and studies on an “as-required” basis.
