The Vendor is required to provide for video series consulting services.
- Consultation services to;
• Meet and consult with agency staff, knowledge keepers, indigenous elders, and local experts through several in-person sessions.
• Develop project work plans, content strategies, episodic outlines and draft scripts.
• Complete all planning activities required to facilitate production, including filming schedules, locations, logistics, equipment, storyboards, and accessibility planning.
• Focus content of one video series on environmental/ecological topics, such as Indigenous Land Stewardship and land management, with the second video series focusing on assisting corporations and business owners with fulfilling and complying with regularity requirements such as Duty to Consult, long side general best practices regarding interacting, communicating, and working with local communities.
- These videos are primarily focused on the dispelling of common “myths” or stereotypes frequently attributed to Indigenous Peoples across country, detailing specific aspects of Indigenous History within state, as well as offering online alternatives to the programming offered in-person at the park.
- As Indigenous cultures and knowledge are inextricably linked to the land on which we live, we hope to enhance this video programming by offering additional video series focused on the interconnections between cultures and the land, through engagement with Elders, Knowledge Keepers, agency staff and local experts.
- Services to be performed
• Organize, host and conduct consultation sessions with local experts, Indigenous Elders, knowledge keepers, and members of agency staff regarding the development of content for additional video series, one focused on environmental/ecological topics, the other focused on assisting corporations and local businesses with compliance to regulatory frameworks.
• Develop a detailed timeline for project phases/activities, including key milestones, deliverable dates, and roles and responsibilities of project team members.
• Develop a general overview of the projects creative approach, target audiences, key messaging, and format/structure of the new video series.
• Develop high-level summaries of each proposed video, including key themes, topics, and learning objectives.
• Develop draft scripts, visual directions and narration where applicable. Provide script revisions based on feedback from consultations.
• Develop a production plan, including filming schedules, locations, logistics and equipment.
• Develop a visual outline of key scenes and shots, alongside graphics or visual elements to be included, and accessibility feature such as captions/transcripts.
