Communications and Public Relations Services

Vendors to provide public relations and communications support for Utilities capital projects.
- The Service Provider will provide services including but not limited to: strategic outreach, community engagement, branding, and critical and timely communications support for utility projects during design and construction. This support will supplement the efforts of our in-house Communications and Engagement staff.
- The Service Provider will also assist with managing public perception, mitigating community disruptions, and maintaining transparent, proactive communication with stakeholders before, during, and after construction activities.
- Digital Communications & Multi-Channel Outreach
a) Project Website: Assist in the creation and maintenance of an accessible, mobilefriendly project website or microsite featuring interactive construction maps, timeline graphics, and an intake form for community comments, questions, and complaints.
b) Social Media Management: Contribute to the creation of high-quality visual content, weekly progress videos, and localized geo-targeted social advertisements to alert commuters of project status, detours, closures and other pertinent information related to the project.
c) Email Updates: Assist in creating and distributing weekly project email updates to opt-in subscription lists. Updates will include work completed, work ongoing, upcoming work, current schedule, and information related to planned pedestrian and traffic closures, and planned utility outages.
