The vendor is required to provide marketing, content creation, public relations and creative design to include tasks such as:
A. Content and feature writing
• Develop engaging and informative content for the county’s department website, email, marketing, and other communication platforms
• Write and edit original content, including business feature stories, press releases, and promotional materials
• Provide high-quality copy for reports, advertisements, banners, and other outreach materials
• Conduct an annual review and update of the department marketing plan and website strategy
B. Marketing and strategy development
• Design and write content for department e-news blasts to enhance engagement and awareness
• Assess existing marketing materials and recommend updates to better achieve the county’s goals
• Assist in the creation and implementation of marketing videos and series to support promotional efforts
C. Creative and graphic design
• Develop visually appealing graphics and layouts for digital and print materials, including ads, banners, social media assets, and brochures
• Ensure all marketing materials align with branding guidelines and effectively communicate key messages
D. Public relations and communications
• Draft, proofread, and refine content to maintain high standards of clarity, accuracy, and effectiveness
• Support crisis communication efforts with strategic messaging when needed
• Enhance the county’s reputation through well-crafted press releases and media outreach.
