The Vendor is required to comprehensive inspection and quality assurance services to support the District’s construction, renovation, and remediation projects.
- Provide for professional consultant services to provide various services on an “as needed” basis estimated for the period July 2025 through July 2026.
- Inspection Services
• Provide Division-certified inspection services to ensure compliance with state-mandated construction and safety regulations.
• Verify that structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire/life safety systems meet approved plans and specifications.
• Ensure that all materials, workmanship, and construction methods adhere to all division -approved documents.
• Work collaboratively with project stakeholders, including contractors, architects, engineers, and school representatives, to ensure compliance with division requirements.
- Quality Assurance & Special Inspections
• Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure materials and workmanship meet required industry standards and regulatory compliance.
• Perform special inspections as needed for critical construction components, including:
○ Structural steel, welding, and bolting
○ Concrete placement and testing
○ Masonry construction
○ Fireproofing applications
○ Roofing installations
○ Soil compaction and foundation inspections
• Document and report findings, ensuring that any non-conformance issues are addressed and corrected promptly.
- Program Management Support
• Assist in the planning, coordination, budgeting evaluation, oversight of materials and inspection services, in addition to execution of construction inspection programs.
• Provide inspector oversight, ensuring that all field inspectors follow established protocols and maintain detailed inspection records.
• Participate in progress meetings, construction team briefings, and site walkthroughs to monitor project advancement and resolve inspection-related concerns.
- On-Site & Off-Site Code Compliance Reviews
• Conduct on-site inspections and code compliance reviews to verify that construction meet Code, division, and other state and local regulations.
• Review off-site fabrication and manufacturing processes for components that require precertification before delivery and installation.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to permitted documents, industry standards, and best practices.
• Provide real-time inspection reports, field notes, and photographic documentation to maintain a clear and accurate project record.
- Regulatory Compliance & Reporting
• Maintain comprehensive inspection records, reports, and daily logs documenting construction activities, deficiencies, and corrective actions.
• Ensure timely submission of reports to the district, division, and other regulatory agencies as required.
• Support the closeout and certification process, ensuring all final inspections, corrections, and approvals are completed for project acceptance.
