The vendor is required to provide audit the financial statements consisting of the governmental activities, business-type activities, fiduciary funds and custodial accounts, aggregate discretely presented component units, each major fund, and the aggregate remaining fund information for all fund types.
- Issue a report on the county’s internal controls over financial reporting and test compliance with certain laws, regulations, and contracts and grant agreements matter.
- Provide an “in-relation-to” report on the supporting schedules and required supplementary information based on the auditing procedures applied during the audit of the general-purpose financial statements.
- Reports, based on current standards:
• A report expressing an opinion of the presentation of the financial statements in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles.
• A report on internal controls over financial reporting.
• A report on compliance with applicable laws, regulations, contracts, grant agreements and other matters.
• An “in-relation-to” report on the schedule of expenditures of federal awards.
• A report on compliance with laws and regulations applicable to each major program and on internal control over compliance in accordance with and 2 CFR part 200 provisions.
• Schedule of findings and questioned costs and status of prior year major federal award programs audit findings including listing of significant deficiencies and material weaknesses.
• Any reports as required by state law, such as reports related to state mandated programs, information, grant certifications, and solid waste financial assurance.
• A management letter wherein items not listed as a significant deficiency or a material weakness are communicated to management.
• Any other reports mandated by changes in the auditing and compliance environment.
