The vendor is required to provide audit services for the three-year period from August 2025 to August 2028.
- Profile of the firm, including a description of the range of services provided by the office
- Identification of the partner, managers and supervisors who will be assigned to the division’s audit, including short biographies of each supervisory person, along with professional qualifications and a summary of relevant experience
- A list of current and prior school jurisdiction, government or public sector audit clients including the number of years of service on each and the contact information from three separate clients for reference
- An indication of the approach the firm will take regarding the audit of the division’s financial statements, including interim work.
- Plan for dealing with startup and familiarization time, if appointed
- Plans for keeping management informed of the audit, of internal control weaknesses and other considerations in the financial, organizational and operational areas.
- An estimate of the total hours anticipated to complete the audit broken down by major anticipated tasks for the term of the agreement,
- Hourly billing rates for each category of staff, and
- Calculation of the total anticipated audit fee and any fee qualifiers for the term of the agreement.
- Any additional charges or discounts to be applied.
- Any adjustments that would apply during the quoted term.
- Hourly rates to be charged by category for any additional services that may be required.

• Innovative ways to reduce audit fees and streamline the audit process,
• Approach to fee negotiation for additional or unplanned work,
• Strategies to familiarize the audit team with the operations of the division,
• Strategies to maintain continuity of the audit team and provide an appropriate level of partner and senior management involvement in the audit, while minimizing audit team staff costs, and
• Quality assurance and control processes employed by you to ensure effective product and service delivery.
