The vendor is required to provide the province requires creation of a publicly accessible, easy to use information data portal aggregating publicly available energy-related data for consumption and use by the public, media, academics and the business sector, which will be integrated into the new website and updated on a quarterly-basis.
- The successful proponent will lead and develop new properties supporting the above objectives, with the following deliverables:
• Project management and coordination

• Raw images for web and other communication materials
• New brand story, wordmark logo, digital and visual identity guide.
• New website which is a clean simple design with four (4) key elements:
o Data and research;
o Editorial content;

• Photography: capture high-quality images for use on the website and other communication materials.
• Image editing: edit and optimize images for web use, ensuring they are visually appealing and aligned with the brand identity.
• Graphic and media assets: successful proponent will supply appropriately licensed, original editable graphic and media asset files as part of RFP deliverables.
6. New brand story, wordmark logo, digital and visual identity guide
• Brand story: develop a compelling brand story that communicates the province’s mission, vision, and values.
• Wordmark logo: design a new wordmark logo that represents the brand identity.
• Digital and visual identity guide: create a comprehensive guide that outlines the brand's digital and visual identity, including color schemes, typography, and imagery.
• Corporate visual identity: align with the agency visual identity manual for goa branding, if applicable, and subject to the province’s discretion.
7. New website design and development
• Clean and simple design: develop a clean and simple website design that includes the following key elements:
o Data and research: present data and research in an accessible and engaging manner.
o Editorial content: feature high-quality editorial content that informs and engages users.
o Graphics and video: incorporate graphics and video to enhance the user experience.
o Agency news and resources: provide up-to-date news and resources from the agency .
8. Information data portal
• Data aggregation: design a publicly accessible, easy-to-use information data portal that aggregates publicly available energy-related data.
• Integration: integrate the data portal into the new website.
• Quarterly updates: ensure the data portal is updated on a quarterly basis.
9. Content migration
• Existing content: migrate existing content (articles, graphics, videos, research) to the new website.
• Social media properties: transfer social media properties to the new brand.
10. Mandatory technical requirements
• Hosting and CMS: website shall be hosted on a hosting platform provided by the province using approved content management system (CMS) software (Umbraco preferred).
• The selected proponent will work the province’s technical team to transition to operations.
• Analytics integration: integrate with analytics tools (e.g., google analytics) to monitor and analyze website performance.
keyword research: conduct keyword research to identify relevant search terms for industry.
• On-page SEO: optimize website content, meta tags, headings, and images for search engines.
• Technical SEO: ensure the website has a clean and efficient code structure, fast loading times, and mobile optimization.
