The Vendor is required to provide background checks and identity verification services for employment.
- Personal Identification: Validating government-issued identification documents such as passports, driver's licenses, and national ID cards.
- Biometric Verification: Using biometric data such as fingerprints, facial recognition, or iris scans to confirm identity.
- Address Verification: Confirming the individual's current and previous addresses through utility bills, lease agreements, or other official documents.
- Date of Birth Verification: Ensuring the accuracy of the individual's date of birth through official records.
- Social Security Number (SSN) Verification: Checking the validity of the SSN and ensuring it matches the individual's name and other personal details.
- Background checks may include:
• Criminal History: Checking for any past criminal records, including felonies, misdemeanors, and arrests, including driving records to include DUIs.
• Employment History: Verifying previous employment, job titles, responsibilities, and reasons for leaving.
• Education Verification: Confirming academic qualifications, degrees, and certifications.
• Credit History: Reviewing credit reports to assess financial responsibility and stability, including information that may cause a person more likely to be compromised by money.
• Professional Licenses: Ensuring that any claimed professional licenses are valid and in good standing.
• Drug & Health Screening: Screening for illicit substances and/or other health requirements established by the government or organization.
• Social media and Online Presence: Reviewing publicly available information on social media platforms and other online sources.
• References: Contacting personal and professional references to gather insights into the individual's character and work ethic, including risks that may compromise the organization’s reputation and/or stakeholder and public confidence.
