The Vendor is required to provide centrex telephone services.
- Provide a portal to read billing online and make changes to features on the account.
- Requesting an assigned account manager for support and the provider should have a central office or remote office near city.
- The carrier must have extensive local support through an account manager.
- The carrier must have 3 or more central/remote offices near city.
- The carrier must provide self-service portal with access for billing and feature changes and CSR data.
- The carrier must be a telecommunication local exchange carrier with 10 years or more experience.
- The carrier shall provide centrex line (analog line with PBX features)
- The carrier shall provide ground start trunks.
- The carrier shall provide contiguous blocks of phone numbers.
- The carrier shall provide foreign exchange circuits.
- The carrier shall provide switch numbers with centrex or centrex-like features.
- The carrier is expected to port or use all existing numbers and all numbers are city exchanges.
- The carrier is expected to provide centrex or centrex-like service to rotary and tone dialing equipment.
- The carrier is expected to be able to provide t1 lines.
- The carrier shall provide paper billing using USPS.
- The carrier shall coordinate and accept broad view as the long-distance carrier (Interlata and Intralata)
- The carrier shall provide the calling features listed for the following line:
• Automatic call back calling,
• Call transfer-all calls
• Consultation hold & add-on conferencing
• Call hold
• Call forwarding-busy line
• Call forwarding-don’t answer
• Call forwarding-busy line and don’t answer
• Call forwarding –variable
• Call pick-up
• Call waiting-originating
• Call waiting-terminating
• Dial call waiting
• Directed call pick-up (barge in and non-barge in)
• Distinctive ringing and call waiting tone
• Speed call – 6
