The Vendor is required to provide commissioning services for an evaluation and analysis of HVAC equipment replacement and refresh, at the county detention facility.
- The facility is 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year fully operational and occupied building.
- The facility houses a population of approximately 1,230 residences plus Sheriff Officers, administration, and intake staff.
- County detention facility is an operational, highly secure, correctional facility which will continue to operate as such for the duration of the mechanical renewal project.
- Constant volume with filter mixing box, heating coil, chilled water coil and supply fan and 2 units with variable air volume with variable frequency drive and mixing box, prefilter, heating coil, cooling coil and supply fan with vertical discharge.
- Must have an office in the county metropolitan area.
- Identify and provide resumes of key personnel of both within the prime firm and within each sub‐consultant firm (if used).
- The key personnel should include the principal‐in‐charge of the project and project manager.
- Provide client references and points of contact for public and or municipal projects with the firm has provided design services within the last 3 years.
- Based on a cm/GC or design build delivery method, describe your approach to performing commissioning services and specific phases, indicating where and how efficiencies of time and/or cost may be achieved.
- What mechanism is used to track comments or issues from commissioning?
- Provide three (3) examples of public and/or municipal projects with consulting services that the firm believes best displays the capacity of the firm to successfully provide services and expertise required.
- The project examples provided must be from completed projects.
- Provide background data on these projects, including personnel from the firm who were involved and a description of their role.
- The information will be treated with the strictest confidentiality.
- The data requested are:
• A description of the project size and scope.
• Completion date and total project costs.
• Contact information for the owner’s representative.
• Highest consideration will be given to firms with 10 years or more of experience in public and/or municipal projects.
- Provide an organizational diagram or chart showing the responsibilities of the consultants.
- Provide hourly compensation rates for personnel using the attached pricing form.
- Provide a completed and signed copy of the proposal.
- Commissioning services include fire life & safety, mechanical, electrical and plumbing, and controls system.
- Contract Period/Term: 1 year
